1. Data controller
Startup Manifest ("we", "the platform") processes your personal data under this policy. Contact info@startupmanifest.com with questions.
2. Data we collect
Account: email and name. Project listing: project name, tagline, description, website, logo, images, category, and social links. Transaction data: payment reference IDs and status (we do not store card or wallet details). Technical data: IP address, browser type, language preference, and usage logs.
3. How we use data
Data is used for account management, listing and publishing projects, payment verification, customer support, platform security, abuse prevention, and service improvement. We do not sell or rent your data to third parties.
4. Legal basis
We process data to perform our contract with you, for legitimate interests (security and platform integrity), and where required by law. Marketing communications are sent only with your consent.
5. Third-party providers
Payments are processed via NOWPayments. Authentication and database services are provided by Supabase. Email notifications are sent via Resend. These providers access only data necessary to deliver their services and have their own privacy policies.
6. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active. On deletion request, personal data is removed within a reasonable period; information required for legal or financial obligations may be retained as required by law.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use essential cookies and local storage for sessions, language preference, and security. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising or profiling.
8. Security
We apply HTTPS, access controls, and secure infrastructure to protect your data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to processing. Contact info@startupmanifest.com; we respond within a reasonable time.
10. Policy changes
This policy may be updated. Material changes will be announced on the platform. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised policy.
